(Tupelo, MS) -- New details regarding the poison letters sent to President Obama and another lawmaker could be released today. The latest suspect in the case is 41-year-old Everett Dutschke. He made his first appearance in court today. He's charged with developing and possessing ricin and attempting to use it as a weapon.
Dutschke has denied any involvement in the case. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday. Dutschke could face life in prison if convicted. Another man was arrested earlier in the case, but the investigation turned to Dutschke after the other man was cleared and said he thought he was framed.
