Browns player busted for prostitution

(Beachwood) - The Browns recently signed linebacker Quentin Groves from the Arizona Cardinals. But an arrest last week will likely require some explaination to the front office.

Groves was picked up by Orange Village Police during a prostitution sting.

According to the police report, the department, along with Beachwood Police and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's's office conducted a joint prostitution operation at the Homestead Guest Studios on April 17.

During the operation a female officer from Beachwood Police, acting as an escort in an undercover role, received numerous calls from males for sex for hire. During these calls a price was determined for services. At 8:53 PM, a male identified as Quentin Groves called and made arrangements for certain acts .

Police say Groves requested full service, and stated he would bring condoms. He arrived to room 231 and was taken into custody without incident.
