(Cleveland) - A former Cleveland mobster has died in federal prison.
Joey Gallo was 75 years old, and the federal prison medical center in Springfield, Missouri did not release a cause of death.
Back in 1983, Gallo was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus an additional 100 years.
Prosecutors charged Gallo with being one of the top men in the Cleveland Mafia that ran a drug ring which took 7 lives, while raking in $15 million dollars a year.
