(Cleveland)- Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were in the MetroHealth Emergency Department Monday night, and of this morning have been released.
That comes from Tina Shaerban Arundel, the hospital's Media & Communications Specialist.
The hospital released a statement saying, "We join the community in celebrating the safe return of these three women."
Dr. Christine Alexander is host of the MetroHealth and You Radio Show on Newsradio WTAM 1100. Dr. Alexander says due to HIPPA laws, she can not give specifics about the women's health.
However, Dr. Alexander says two women and a six-year-old girl were released Monday night and the third was released Tuesday morning.
Now that they've been released from the ER, the woman are now turned over to their primary care physicians. Dr. Alexander says the women seem healthy in the short term, but there could be chronic issues that'll need treatment over time.
