(Cleveland) - Retired ophthalmologist Dr. Sanford Sherman has hired prominent defense attorney Niki Schwartz.
The doctor is the husband of Aliza Sherman who was stabbed to death in downtown Cleveland last march.
Dr. Sherman has retained a lawyer, even though police have yet to call him a suspect in his wife's murder.
It’s been two months since the attack and there is a 25-thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Schwartz is characterized as a "super lawyer" and is best known for helping to negotiate the end of the Lucasville prison riot back in 1993.
