Rally to stop the killing of cats in North Ridgeville

(North Ridgeville)- The nation's largest advocacy group for cats will be in North Ridgeville protesting tonight.

Alley Cat Allies is protesting the shooting deaths of five kittens by a humane officer. The officer is not going to be disciplined.

The group will also present a petition of more than 30,000 signatures to city council calling for an end to euthanizing cats in North Ridgeville, and to meet with humane officers to talk about more humane measures like trap-neuter-return of feral cats.

The rally starts at 6:45 pm at South Central Park across from city hall.
