Ways to beat the heat

(Cleveland)- Northeast Ohio residents are finding ways to beat the heat as temperatures are in the upper 80's and low 90's.

Many are staying indoors in the air conditioning while others are heading out to local beaches like Edgewater Beach in Cleveland.

Another option is to cool off in the water at a public pool. The city of Cleveland's outdoor pools are open every Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 7:30pm. The city said the pools are open Monday and Tuesday if temperatures are at least 85 degrees.
