(Northfield) – Looking for a job in northeast Ohio growing casino industry?

The Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield will hold a job fair to fill 600 positions Thursday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Hard Rock Rocksino Manager Jon Lucas says the job fair is just a starting point. Candidates do not need not bring resumes and they should not expect job offers on the spot. Lucas says they’re looking for qualities that can’t be taught.

Positions include waiters, waitresses, bartenders, security and some office positions, both full-time and part-time. Lucas says they want people who enjoy the service industry and casino experience is not necessary.

The $68 million facility is due to open in mid-December with 2,250 video lottery terminals plus a concert hall, a comedy club and multiple restaurants.
